First post, first attempt

First attempt,but long time lurker looking for some help

Escondido spore syringe
2 qts sterilized Rye Berry
5 lbs. Sterilized Substrate

1 modifed monotub
1 small shoebox

* inoculated 2 qts of Sterilized rye berry with 3ml of Escondido spore from HDS.

* sat for 5 weeks untily fully colonized, shaken at 4 weeks.
* mixed with Substrate and wrapped with saran wrap, placed in dark for 15 days.
* I then placed both tubs in indirect light (12hrs) and have been waiting for pinset.. Tub has continued to colonize, as pics show. Should I be more patient, or did I miss a step ?
Pics only of smaller tub. But both tubs look very similar , thanks for any help !

 

Temps between 75 and 88 f , humidity in tent is 50%, but totes are still sealed

Looks like u are off and running great looking tubs ! It’s worth the wait tubs with voids are a tam magnet.The extra time is well spent u get a much better yield .Are u fanning ?

 

Thanks for the input , Yes I am fanning now a couple times a day.

Here are recent pics of both tubs, larger had the FAE holes, does the area circled appear to be contaminated ? Thanks everyone

 

Looks like mycelium piss to me .Keep an eye on it tho .Looks like u have hyphel knots should see pins soon .

I think its mycelium piss (metabolites} as well. Awesome looking tub.

Here are recent pics of both tubs, both have pins. Question, I should be spraying on top and sides of container only with distilled water and NOT the substrate, correct? Thanks again, all.

 

You're looking great. I dont spray anymore but have sprayed the sub without issues. Keep spaying the way you are.

 

I usually just mist the walls, maybe a little quick mist over the top and let it fall to the sub and then fan.
