“FAE” ?

    Cool to know, thanks. It’s starting to produce tiny pinheads. The gray spot is from where I stuck a jar of hot water in there for steam to increase humidity. I remembered that later but didn’t understand the yellow tint. It hasn’t spread any more so I hope I’m good

    Thank u. I have a question about agar. What if the mycelium just stops growing on the dish? It is viable to put to grain? I don’t want to waste my time and grain if I don’t have to-

    If mycelium stops colonizing the dish, then maybe it is fighting off bacteria on the plate, or it is lacking oxygen, or maybe the temperatures are dropping too much. I would transfer again, just to be sure.

    Yes I’m learning the hard way. Plus, I have so many projects going at once, it was easy to leave one plate alone...
