    Progress update.

Tub 1 and 2 are just about fully colonized.

Tub 3 is about 50% colonized.

The mycelium looks very happy from my view point, kind of hard to photograph it threw the seran wrap lid.

All in all should be seeing some pins in tub 1 in the next few days. :)

    Cheers!

    Update

Bin 1 is well on it's way to flushing out.
I have some smaller pins in bins #2 and 3.

Cant wait to see how the mixed genetics all play out in the end with the yield.

What are your mixed genetic. I just added wavy cap spores from a spore print I made from to an agar plate I made myself. I thought I was using a B+ Hope there is no contam and wow wouldn’t it be great to grow Psilocybe Cyanescens I don’t know the process or if they can only grow in the wild.

Tub #3 is doing good I should update with pictures from it upon maturity.

    Cheers!

    Update

Bin #3 is just about complete its 1st flush.

It wont let me embed the thumbnail for some reason again so you'll have to click the link.

And in other news I tryed obtaining some spore prints bit this variety doesnt let go of them easily. Much to my frustration.

    Update

Bin #3 yielded just over 3.5oz

And it took 48 hours of printing but I was able to obtain a nice fresh spore print. (This p.cubensis doesnt release spores very well)

I didnt notice a difference in the potency per a dried gram between the two. But so far both trips were quite pleasant with color spectrum changes and jolly good vibes.

    In other news

I'm attempting to rekindle my contaminated "golden teacher" spores on agar.

    20211205_155935.jpg

I'll update once more with "corumba" since I have 12 3rd gen spawn jars just about ready for use but I'll include the isolation work on the gt's too.

    Round 3 of "corumba"

This is tub 1's results using only 6L of wbs spawned to 1brick of coir but this time I added 1/2 cup of fine crushed oyster shells to the mix to help maintain the p.h.

(Maintaining the p.h helps prevent the substrate from becoming to acidic and thus favorable for green mold just incase if anyone wondered why)

I'll post tub 2's results when they're in, I made them up a week between so tub 2 is just starting to pin up. :)

First flush dry weight: a few grams over 3oz.

And heres a couple pictures of some Penis Envy#6 doing their thing on a nutrient mix consisting of kraft dinner water and corn syrup(solidified with agar of course)
    In no pour Tupperware containers.

I'm hoping to get some larger fruits after I transfer a few times, pe#6 produces genetically small mushrooms from ms on a consistent basis but I know they can be enlarged! Wish me luck, I'll keep this thread going aslong as I'm growing.
