...which made 19 clear agar plate lids for my widemouth 1/2 pint mason jars... Leave it to me to use something for the first time, in a fashion other than its intended purpose... Here are a few transfers I made today:

You gotta do what you gotta do lol.

In this hobby crafting, thinking outside of the box and using what you have is KEY, great work!

EM, I'm in love with these cult tubes :thumbup1:

Jeff; assuming they grow out clean... One of those two Panellus stipticus plates will be heading your way

Looks like you're a couple weeks ahead of me on that one. I'm also jealous of your ATL#7 and the P. Stipicus. Wish there were more hours in the day!

I thought those looked familiar!I am glad you are getting good use from them brother.

I ordered a case of 15ML simport cultubes if you are interested in working something out in the future, I prefer them over those glass tubes(and they are a bit cheaper) but at the end of the day if they store a culture that is all that matters:thumbup:

I am finally heading toward making slants. I need to do this for my edibles at least.

    Good work!

Oh man! These PP-bag "lids" are sooooo much nicer than opaque lids :thumbup1: Thank you, Prof, for the idea :)

I still use them sometimes when all my pyrex plates are filled. Actually, I seem to always still have a jar or two of agar around, lol.
They are the most sturdy plate you will get for the price that is definite.

    Lookin' Good HS! :)

    Thank you :hatsoff:

I feel as if I'm still getting used to the move from the kiddy pool to the big boy pool... Wading in the shallow end...

Hope to one day have a flowhood for agar work... But regardless; am looking to custom build a large SAB in the future
