    Prof,

    Let's say I follow your tek, but I don't end up using all the substrate. Can I put the rest in a bag and freeze it? Then let's say 6 months later thaw it out and use it?

    Would that work?

    It is more a preference thing....

    It will actually like it better :)

    Only reason to use coir is to stretch the poo.

    that is if we are referring to dung loving mushrooms.

    The quality will always be higher if you feed them straight poo but the poo will last longer which results in a greater yield with coir added.

    The only reason for this is because by adding coir you are putting more weight into he substrate.

    More weight in = more weight out :)

    Wonderful vids Prof, thank you! Love how specific you are on the measurements. When I first started the hobby I would wing everything. Worked fine, but was never sure what worked best. Now I'm measuring everything.
    I have a package coming soon! Will be using the tek -the roaster.
