Jeff, that is very crafty of you. All everyone upthread who makes soap! You are one multi-hobby kinda guy!
tea tree is amazing, thyme is, with its thymol oil, a wonder in this dept., there are myrrh and goldenseal and echinacea, turmeric, cinnamon, bayberry, eucalyptus, pau d'arco, olive leaves, lavender, citrus oils. look for essential oil tinctures.
you can also consider things like garlic (garlicin) oil and cranberries extracts, and even honey (has to be real honey, not most crap in stores that is nowadays cut with GMO corn syrup or is just straight up corn syrup). the rawer the honey the better, and the stuff from AU and Africa can be magical. forget what some of that stuff is called.
how about adding in some medicinal mushroom extracts?
this reminds me, though, when it comes time for me to grow, I imagine i will use these types of things to sterilize areas over using oust/lycol. I need to figure a way to make an aerosol so things aren't so wet tho, and leaving oily residue :/
any ideas folks?
Insert Tyler Durden joke here:
i love soaping... i usually just make castiel, is just olive oil, water, and lye... so good for the skin.
anywho, you may want to check out the link below...
So what your saying about the honey is that if you can get the bees to regurgitate into your soap it would be awesome?
whip your hive into shape
I would like to try that and use cloves
This is awesome!
My grandma said store soap doesn’t clean like lye soap.def need to try thanks Jeff. Some fresh sage would rock for a scent
