somebody sent me a message about living in a leaky mold ghetto apartment with pets and very very challenging odds and wow did it calm me down I need more short stories like that. I wish I could stay on here more but I have chronic discogenic disease in 4 disks from the neck down I can't be on here. I don't use pain killers at this point

if my girlfriend starts to feel sorry for herself, she watches documentaries about WWII: the Holocaust, Hiroshima, the Internment camps in America for Japanese; and other terrible stuff in history like killing of natives in Americas and other mass killings. She said it is hard to feel sorry for yourself after you see that stuff.
it is more hardcore than i can deal with for hours on end, but it works for her.

I understand the frustration Papa G, having lived in more than my share of shit-hole rentals and project housing, I know exactly what it's like. There was one place I lived, an old Navy housing project in Washington state. This place had only oil heaters, in the middle of winter, like a week from Christmas, two young kids and we had no oil, heat was achieved by breaking our furniture to little pieces and burning it in the tiny space the oil combusted in the stove.. To make matters worse, the basement was perennially filled with rain water and everything felt wet 100% of the time. We were so sick in that house. Two years there. Two years too long.

I do hope your path leads you to better digs and less pain.

Pain I itself is a struggle.

as far as Myco hobbies, honestly you'll have to do like many of us & do everything in a enclosed space fogged with lysol...
Maybe consider "tarping off" a small area to grow in, something as cheap as painter drop cloths draped over a pvc frame could help.
Don't give up is the key
