That's so sweet! Deisel on deck!
Professor have you though about making an og cross? glue/fire back to an og. glue/fire back to gg#4 would be sweet to.keep up the good work
Yea I'll make a few og crosses st some point. I have Tahoe and skywalker and access through my circle to a few others.
The problem is there's not enough time or space to get everything done that I would like to entertain
i hear u. i have the same problem at a much smaller level. so much fire out there. i see a new strain i want to grow on a daily basis
Well. If I ever get the phase overthruster back from Japan I can fix the time machine and problem solved.
forgot about the astronaut strain. skywalker x
Need the masters opinion on this one What do you think about crossing the Chem91 1X2 with Gorilla Dawg? I may have an opportunity come late summer.
I think it would probably come out better than if you did chem91ix to gorilla dawg... law of f2's!
I was thinking the same thing.
I may have to conduct a pheno hunt with the GD again. It is pretty experimental at this point.
I'm also having really good results with the cross of my Permafrost Rogue Cut mother and Gorilla Dawg.
I think it's going to be well worth a rework using a GD male instead of the two pheno parents that were reversed. The crazy crosses are lots of fun and give one lots of ideas, but the true breeding lies in M/F. As a matter of fact I think a lot of MTSC strains are going to cross with that PRC quite beautifully.
Shit! Before I forget again. Smiley for the forum.
Says it all by Essence on myco-tek.org
My gorilla dawg male definitely an elite fellow. Every cross I've made with him is killer.
I feel a collaboration in the works
Do you send me the pollen or do I send you the cut?
I'm checking out shipping packages with built in LED's
and why am I so smiley happy today?? Sheesh
I use the foam for packing an air conditioner with a clear container.
These were sent to a friend in across the country a few weeks ago...
The plastic bag I add water to it and the foam holds the root ball and the water in the bag.
To don't bother with LED. It's just an extra step and the plants can deal with the dark period fine.
The trick is making sure you have a good root ball before shipping. Then it can take a beating. The Glue took it hard on this trip but these are resilient plants and she pulled through too.
A couple weeks later somewhere else in the USA they both are doing well.....
Good idea with the foam! Yeah, the light is overkill, but you know me. What can I do with it that it wasn't really designed for?
It's been a while since I've shipped clones. I remember back when it went legal med I used to trade seeds and clones with a breeder in upstate NY. We used baggies, paper towels, rockwool, plastic bottles, solo cups, whatever lol. Had a good success rate both ways. Like you said the bottom line is the root ball.
I should be in up potting the new mother right now lol. Too friggin stoned to do much of anything at the moment. I'll let you know when I take the next clones. Probably a month or so.
Something a little further down the pike too. Dude, I gotta tell you. I hooked into one of those special accidents with one of my crosses. Could be foundation style shit from a potency stand point. I'll keep you posted on that too.
Definitely brother. Please do keep me posted.
And, yea, I can send ya some pollen some time bro......
Working on a big ol' photo dump while the clones recover from clean up prior to up potting.. yeah, that's it.
The new Permamother will be a bush. She prefers HID too so you'll get along fine.
Here's the last Permaharvest. Not as pretty as she can be. This one was S1 seeded, small pot terpene tortured, rush job and under 100% LED. She turns into swollen puff balls under HID. Massive resin producer either way. My favorite oil/hash strain by far. Oh I've got the certificate somewhere too. This clone came right out of Colorado. Very few hands have touched it. Throws out a recessive purple/blue trait on occasion which is sort of odd for a clone lol. I've watched it happen side by side with the green which shows it to a lesser degree in cooler temps.
4 from 4........3 Gorillas.
Cant wait to see them get going!
Just got all the funds out for what I could get from your new drop.
Double Cookie Dog and finally
Really looking forward to these (wish I could afford more, really had to narrow the order down to what I could afford ATM), in fact I will be popping the astronaut and one other as soon as they arrive.
Really been trying hard since day 1 to get the dog cage, but that sells out fast (goes to show that it's exceptional), have to really look out, I am sure that it's getting close to retiring for a while. Gotta get my hands on your mandarin strain as well, seems like it's going to be tasty, but I expect that to be available for a bit as it's part of your new drop.
1. What is the lineage of your Snow Dog?
2. What is the difference between those strains listed as having Snow Dog (Usually used as the male) and your Super Snow Dog (Usually used as the female)? I see that the later is clone only, they both have the same lineage, right? Just male/female/Pheno selection?
Still have a ways to go with the new drop to get up to date, had a fire, living in an apartment for next 6 months to a year Fortunately my genetics were in a safe that was fire rated and everything is fine, only lost a handful of seeds that were not in the safe and, unfortunately, about 30+ seedlings (40 plants). What kills me ae the seedlings, I had 3 each of a dozen+ different strains I had staggered 8-10 weeks apart. All but one strain was the best I had, lots of Mycotek, Obs, DVG, Uprising, Thug, Exotic, Ethos, etc... only one that lived, was a regular 9 lb hammer seedling from Subcool sprouted them just to compare to the elite strains (never used any Subcool genetics (tho I have a few beans from 8-10 strains), I see the genetics in a lot of elite strains, curious if they are just knockoffs or the real deal...
Currently it's doing very well, took a beating with all the smoke, the tag saved it, bent over in the heat on top of the seedling and protected it from the settling of the smoke debris, which killed most ultimately if the fire didn't... Lot's of genetics lost, at least I have my main stash for the most part, I wasn't responsible for the fire and everyone is ok, that's all that matters (does suck knowing I lost pretty much everything I own aside some stuff I could recover). Thanks for good insurance, they are paying to replace everything, just taking weeks to get an inventory of what was lost...
My Worm farm, while melted, was ok , I transferred the soil/castings/worms to a few bins and seems to have gotten them out of the smokey soil and into new bedding. I've got someone locally who will sell me 5000 for 40 bucks, I just have to dig them out of a huge compost pile with 100's of thousands of red wigglers. I'm sure I will end up with 10#, lol. The replacement farm is a lot bigger, now have 10 - 2 sf x 6" trays in 2 worm bins (they gave me a g total space with a 12" deep working / top bin. MY soil blend was ok as well, I stored it in 3- 60 gallon heavy bins that didn't melt, the smoke never got in it, so I was able to save that, which is good cause I bet there's 500-1000 bucks in those bins... It was some of the best super soil I have made to date, some was over a year old, so I am glad that wasn't lost. Probably 50% castings and a few dozen amendments/nutrients that had to cook for 6-12 months. lol. Would be nice to get the recipe tweaked so that I may be able to sell it locally. I add 3 parts recycled/new soil/Promix (they have a new high porosity blend that works perfect) to the soil, so it goes a long way. 1 gallon currently makes 5 gallons of soil (a bucket full). I've had it tested a few times, think one more test to show similar results from my last test 3 months ago will be what I need to have a full Macro/Micro Nutrient profile that didn't change in 3 months (means that it was done and can be finalized). I am very happy with this mix especially making my own castings that are super charged with all sorts of amendments as well, processed by the worms. Makes tea turn a dark brown/blue/green in minutes, lol. With my super soil, all you need is a bale of promix to get started, that will last a year depending on your activity since it will all be recycled without any worry of a toxic buildup of any macro or micro nute, as long as you don't overdo it with the super-soil (follow the instructions).
Everyone should check their smoke alarm batteries and check all wiring for warm power cables, if I had done that I would have noticed that the piece of equipent that caused the fire was having problems and building up heat in the cable/receptacle. The Alarms gave us a critical alert to the fire that without could have resulted in the loss of the house. The few minutes that alarms give you is very important to your safety and the scope of the fire ultimately. Check your batteries, replace them and mark the date.
