I so wanted to get back into cultivating mushrooms again...I took a way too long break. There are so much I still need to catch up on...but...I cannot get anything to enter this stubborn brain of mine...way too much on my mind...I thought I've overcome that deep darkness...but alas...it's winning once again...oh my gosh, please take it down if it is inappropriate. I just want to scream out my frustration...somewhere...even if no one is listening.

Nothing wrong with expressing yourself Tammy. Say whatever you need, this is the right forum for it. Nobody is judging. Depression is real, it is painful and it is often alleviated by discussing it, and what better place to learn to talk about our inner issues than a room full of 'known strangers' like us? I am feeling good today, I hope you are too.

I get a LOT of my daily dopamine and serotonin from watching the progress of my various grow projects. Do you need any items to get you growing again? Lots of generous and magnificient bastards here who can't wait to be the nicest guy on the block. Let us know what you might need.

Thank you :) Just to know that there are people out there listening, already makes a huge difference!
I thought I lost everything but it seems like I was able to save one...only time will tell if its going to work.

ps: I tried to find an option to delete this thread, but it seems like there isn't an option for that...or are there?

Well...first of all, I should not be on the internet when I feel like that, lol. :) I think it was a bit of frustration too. In the past I had such a huge success rate, and now, I started off with yeast contamination...had to dump a couple of grain jars...not very encouraging.

Yes @redcat...I never want to go there ever again...I thought I've won...but that is something that can never be beaten...

It's a tough hobby when you have stuff on your mind. I've put myself on auto pilot many times and have had contamination issues. Just yesterday someone was talking to me as i was putting my substrate into the oven. Instead of putting the inside oven on low i accidently turned on the top burner and walked away. I didnt notice it for hours and could have caused a fire. It's even worse when your mind isnt feeling so great. If i get that way i like to re read the tek or rewatch RR's video and follow along step by step.

I can also do the silliest things :) Maybe I have too much going on. For the last 2 years or so I've been making artisan soap, I learned about Ormus and makes that and I also "study" essential oils...something I want to make myself...one day. I try to keep my mind occupied...
I was rereading some of the threads, even mine, just to catch up a bit...and watching some videos...I will get there, eventually.

I've been reading up on psychoactives lately...do you think that it can cure chronic depression?

I havent read the studies about depression and psychactives but i can tell you from personal experience that it didnt cure mine. Making your first active grow will raise your spirits. Eating them may make you happy but you could also have a bad trip too. Every trip is a learning experience so even a bad trip is a good one afterwards. First off i should ask you if you're taking any depression medications ? If you are they could already have filled the receptors in your brain and you won't be affected.

Yup, I'm on medication...for a very long time...what you've said make sense. I was thinking microdosing, not enough to be trippen on. As long as it does not get worse, thats a big concern. I'm on new medication for a couple of years now, maybe the best combination I've ever been on...but I cannot help wondering. I will do some more research. Thank you @redcat

I'm feeling the best in years too. The last thing i want to do is take anything that may interfere with it. I was pushing my luck awhile back and skipping meds to trip..that was a bad idea.

Thank you for telling me...I'm glad I asked, I surely don't want to make it worse.

Tammy i feel you. I am also depressed from time to time and lately its been harder than ever. Take minute by minute, no stress.
I wish I could give you a big support hug:)

I am also very down right now with life a mess around me. its easy to say it will pass but sometimes it doesnt. I suffer a lot right now, need to quit the booze, need meds etc. Im also a mess. So i feel you I really do.

Thing is my neighbors found out something they shouldnt have and now theyre all laughing at old KD and scorn him an such for it. Its the worst thing happening ever for me so I am very sad.
