?

Would you recommend pollinating across the two strains or keeping the two strains separate ?

Can you explain what the 12/5.5/1/5.5 light schedule is? Sounds like a less impactful sexing prior to flowering.

Looks great, nice gear there buddy

My roommate stumbled upon that formula to get a sex on plants without going full bore flower. 12 hours light followed by 12 hours dark which is broken up by an hour of light in the middle. He was able to get a sex on all the plants within a week and continue another month of veg (18/6) without confusing the plants too much. I have to sex the plants before flower so I can administer the STS solution on my fav female. I have the chemicals for the STS but I have yet to mix them into a workable product. After spraying the white widow multiple times a day for 3 weeks, I'm very excited to only have to spray once this time around . Anyone have experience with STS?

    Right here dude :getstoned:

You'll like the results from STS. I'm also currently running some tests with Colloidal Silver using the same schedule as STS. So far I've been able to achieve the same results. This thread is a work in progress and I have a lot to post to it still but you may find some of the info interesting. http://mycotek.org/index.php?threads/cannabis-sex-reversal-using-silver.8594/

Still no missing link females... waiting to do the sts on one, then hit the 12 12 button 2 weeks later. I just transplanted 7 of the plants to 3 gallon containers last night . Everything is smooth sailing so far. I did take out one missing link male and will collect some pollen for a branch or two. 2 other kimbo kush plants were either male or not growing great so they got the chop. 20170517_225720.jpg

20170521_224751.jpg just sprayed the missing link female with STS... such a relief that I can finally start doing some hard love training with the others... found another missing link male, and such a shame because it was my favorite plant. Got 2 kimbo kush females and hoping for at least 2 more missing link females to grow out.

First try of STS does not seem to be working... from all I have read the plant should start to die a bit before the male sacks are created. Tried a new recipe for the STS and sprayed again. But either way it looks like my timing here will not be perfect so I doubt I will be able to get usable pollen in time to pollinate these plants . 20170531_235424.jpg

You might be surprised about your timing windows. Your 10 days in from the first treatment so it has at least another 14-21 before you see signs of reversal. They usually show around week 4 in flower. About 2 more to open and pollinate. Seems pretty late for selfing or even seeding anything at week 6 but it works for me all the time. Just be prepared to let them go an extra week or two from when the bud is technically ready. I have a few right now at 3 weeks past and the bud is still looking really good. They slow a bit during seed development so the panic will begin to fade. It really beats the old school rodelization methods though. You'd pretty much write off any smokable product pushing into 14-16 weeks

I'm not going to comment on the 'plant starting to die part' :archie:lol

About a week or two later it pollinated me sneaking in a few minutes before lights on lol. :bee:

Thanks for the heads up there... true to form I did start seeing the start of the pollen sacks this week. Nice to know I can let the seeds rest longer on the plant and since I am not looking to get buds I'm sure That's what will happen . 20170604_222038.jpg

Mike at Exotic is sitting on a couple of sweet cuts over there. His Starfighter work keeps catching my eye lately.

Well that tall girl is a true hermaphrodite .... showing some full blown pollen sacks... only 3 weeks into flower now...
I could use some opinions on what to do with her. My first instinct is to chop her, but wondering if there are any other options

Depends on what type. There's four different ones each according to location. The further down the stem they are the better your chances. You can carefully cut them off with a razor blade and that usually does the trick but you have to stay on it the whole way. If they are up in the calyx's your kind of screwed. Either way she's far enough not to waste. Edibles or a nice CCO would be the best way to dispose of it IMO.
