It's impossible to grow Agarikon right?

I found out about this mushroom and would love to grow it but the little bit of info out there suggests that it cannot be grown indoors.

I've heard that you can extract the chemicals from the mycelium to be used as medicine. Anyone ever done anything like that? Is it as simple as colonizing a WBS grain jar with Agarikon and then boiling the spawn to extract the chemicals?

    Thanks for any help.

Hi, I know my response is late, I'm new. From my understanding, one will find the same compounds in the mycelium as they would in the fruiting body. I interpreted that the mycelium will host the same medicinal/beneficial properties as the fruit itself. Keep in mind that a hot water extraction including the spawn will carry over to your tonic/soup the compounds found in the substrate.

I've actually posted a few threads on a few different sites about extracting from mycelium and no one knows how to do it. Eventually I'm sure it will be known.
