I hope to grow this strain soon. What temps work best for grain jars, bag colonization and also fruiting? @FallenOak or Muskie

It performs well within the parameters outlined by Stamets for me.

    Spawn Run:

    • Incubation Temperature: 70-75* F (21-24* C)
    • Relative Humidity: 95-100
    • Duration: 10-14 days
    • CO2: 5000-40,000 ppm
    • Light Requirements: n/a
    Primordia Formation:

    • Initiation Temperature: 50-60* F (10-15.6* C)
    • Relative Humidity: 95-100
    • Duration: 3-5 days
    • CO2: 500-700 ppm
    • Fresh Air Exchanges: 5-8 per hour
    • Light Requirements: 500-1000 lux
    Fruitbody Development:

    • Temperature: 65-75* F (18-24* C)
    • Relative Humidity: (85) 90-95
    • Duration: 4-5 days
    • CO2: 500-1000 ppm
    • Fresh Air Exchanges: 5-8 per hour
    • Light Requirements: 500-1000 lux
    Cropping Cycle:

    • 14 days apart
@FallenOak probably has some good pointers on the indoor growing. He's the one growing them big enough to bear hunt with a branch. I just work with what happens outdoors!

Fruiting seems to go best in the 60s with anything above 70 seeing a drop off in quality. They are sensitive to humidity and fresh air exchange. A drop off in either results in aborted sections of fruit or coral looking things. Direct misting will cause bruising, and they just don't handle excessive water in general.

Thanks Muskie! I'm thinking of trying the coffee blend supp as a side by side test with just bran. But I can't imagine anyone doing better the FallenOak.

For sure. I've only grown it on totems and on HWFP supplemented with wheat bran outside.

This one did ok on wheat bran.

Do you do anything with the blocks or conditions after first harvest to promote a clean 2nd flush?
