    Bread making is a handy excuse to I grind my own flour ! And they put all kinds of crap in it these days so it covers slot of ground.

    you'll never go back to simmering again. Its a pain sometimes keeping up with the ice so if you can get away with just putting your grains in the fridge then go that route.

    Is the ice for bacteria control are to keep them from sprouting ? Just curious.Im one of those guys that never grew out of the why stage lol.

    The ice is to keep them from sprouting , keeps mold at bay also and keeps the water from getting funky. You'll PC them after theyre hydrated to kill off any contams.

    I was thinking sprouting but wasn’t sure .I wonder how sprouted oats would work feel an experiment coming on .lol.Thanks redcat appreciate the answer and the tec.

    It’s a real bad feeling when people out about town start to know you as the mushroom guy. Keep it to yourself and def grow some edibles but even at that keep it quiet. The first thing people ask is “do you grow shrooms too?”

    Ya Trout ! hell everyone assumes u do if u do are don’t. Grow actives..I was trying to send some mycelium to nichrome and the peeps at the post office acted like I was sending crack ! It was black popular mycelium.
