So, I knocked up a set of 8 1/2p jars with 10ccs of APER(Albino Penis Envy Reverted) spore solution evenly dispersed between them(4 holes per jar) on the 31st of Aug. I looked at them a few days after inoculation and noticed this white jelly-like looking substance in at least 2 of them, possibly a small bit in a 3rd. Is this a contaminant? Or the BRF congealing from being too moist? I would think of that was the case it would happen toward the bottom though... I'm pretty sure it's not good... I haven't opened to smell at all. I just isolated them today. Is it possible it contaminated my other jars colonizing in the tub(I have injection sites covered with MPT)?

Also, I am wondering if it's okay to keep multiple BRF PF Tek jars of different strains(Golden Teachers, B+, Texas PE6, APER, Purple Mystics) all in the same tub? All sealed with MPT.

    I'm obviously a newbie... lol!

    I REALLY APPRECIATE ANY HELP.

    THANKS IN ADVANCE!

FYI, I've already learned A LOT here and look forward to being a part of the community.

Ya doesn’t look like mycelium bud sorry.looks like a tam .and sure u can.u can even fruit them out in the same shotgun chamber they are not going to jump to another substrate unless touching And probably would have to have availability of uneaten cakes for that.printing from the same chamber would be pretty safe to imo hold out for one of the cake growers for confirmation on the tam tho just to make sure I’m not mistaken .looks bacterial to me tho but I’d like another opinion

So your saying you inoculated all 10cc into this one or 10cc throughout all 8 sorry lost in translation there lol... from my experience a month is a little long for brf but to be honest it looks like the brf powder may not have been mixes well enough sometimes i get globs that look like wet mycelium but its just the brf powder... how old were spores and were they a credible vendor? Also pens envy is notorious for slow colonization that is why they are some of the most potent... not sure on fruiting cakes I break mine up into shoebox tubs but yea you should be able to fruit different races in same container just make sure they are 100% colonized and like @Nihidao make sure they don't touch... worst case take you worst lookinh one and open outside and take a wiff... also how did you mix the brf up heard its best to start with verm and introduce water until thats a field capacity and than add your brf without anymore water, the most common problem with new brf users is over saturation i even had problems and opened one up and man did I tell right away it was bad lol. If anything stick your nose up to FAE hole in lid and waft into nose see if it smells bad...
This could me qet mycelium trying to run through but its fighting the moisture o and don't pack them down at all that also makes mycelium struggle to run through just think of it as running on dry dirt compared to running in mud... umm I think thats all for now keep us posted, also if they are no good throw them in a garden bed or a planter with fresh soil and they may bounce back outside best of luck!

Hey anyone struggling will take anything to get their kinds off the baddies! But it does look similar to when my mycelium starts to eat the brf it may start spreading soon what temps you got? Maybe too cold also
