Anbody like cake ? ( lokteks open grow log)

Is lt light are malt syrup lok ? I’m going to look it up so I don’t steer u wrong .potato agar works great to if’s can’t get malt. And that one looks solid nice

 

anybody coming here to look around doing Cakes..listen to them...and pay attention... two of these were fruiting on the bottom and i had no idea... 0 fruits on the top...i flipped em over. . Look at the bottom left.. that whole bottom was fruited and is probably not gonna amount to much now, but ...next time Gadget....Next time ill catch it earlier!!

 

They must have liked the conditions down there .i have had tubs do the same thing on me end up with a few huge mush with verm all over them. I wouldn’t think cake would do that with the perlite.

Wish I could be more help with cakes .I know what the techs say but have very little first hand experience.

 

Im just gonna keep on learning.. looking to get a PC...dont trust a used one.. so malt extract and a PC..and i wont feel like i am just dabbling..... i can still sterilize..it just takes way longer

 

Awesome man! I attempted to fruit from cakes my first grow and had mediocre results. Started crumbling and casing them at full colonization and got much better flushes. Your cakes already look better than mine did though haha

 

I think im in love with this mycelium lol... is there any rule that states i cant break down and put back in to colonization if they arent yellowed or showing signs of contam after 3rd flush ?

 

Not too many hard rules in mushroom cultivation. Not sure of what kind of yield you might get but you could give it try. At the first sign of contams though, I'd toss it

 

That should work ! Like green gill says not many rules they eat almost anything .I have heard of good returns on the crumble tec but think it went from fresh .

I dunno... dudes i found myself in this bizarre loop lolol of picking up my vape..with my right hand..hitting it... setting it down and looking at the wall..picking up my phone with my left hand..typing in some shit about mushrooms and confusion.. not being satisfied with the results...i set the phone back down...only to pick the vape back up and do that whole routine...prolly like for 20 minutes or so it would seem.. just out of it... thank god i was alone lolol...not the " trip" for me... you think i dried em wrong ???

 

Felt this iscredible surge of energy like that worry from almost gettimg in a wreck...but add 30 percent... for like an hour or so... maybe a kundalini something or other ?? Either way...it wasnt even all that much..1.6...idk...any opinions are welcome

I was in the loop before the vape..and it was just nicotine...not saying your wrong. Cause who knows... but it was odd.. new strain is in order i think...i wonder how many other types will take well to cakes..cause i think i am getting the hang of it

 

Ok, well. Maybe B+, I’m incubating a few cakes and a grain jar. Jar should be ready by next weekend. But the cakes going slow.
