    upload_2021-4-8_17-15-22.jpeg Hey there guys,
So basically this is my first time on a form and first time grower, furthermore, it’s been two weeks since i have inoculated 6 jars using the pf tek.

So basically I’m starting to have doubts, although I have sterilized everything from top to bottom, I’m concerned with this kind of yellowish mycelium,
1- doesn’t smell cheesy it smells shroomy
2- it’s not a disposition aka mycelium piss(I have no idea if that’s actually a thing lol..) from what I’ve seen from other growers on various forums
3- i know I am probably over thinking it but it’s my first time and I WANT no mistakes (I’m a perfectionist if that’s what you want to call it)
    Below are the pictures:

Definitely looks like mycelium , the yellow could be anitbiotic metabolites (myc piss is what they call it but it's not piss) , these can be the by product of fighting against low level contams, but not always, a few more days will tell for sure

    Welcome!

That varieties aren`t a common choice for a first grow :D
Have they been that wet before you inoculated?
How did you treat the lid holes after inoculation?
How do you plan on fruiting, as cakes or going to bulk?

Once you see cobweb, you`ll never forget.
Everything will be covered within 24 hours after first signs.
Mostly seen on casings in combination with stall air.

    Good luck mate

Yeah I’ve been told that previously,
For about 4-7 days there were no signs of mycelium growth, and no there wasn’t that much condensation on the glass prior to those 4-7 days.
After inoculation I taped 4 holes with breathable tape.
Since it’s my first time I’m planning on doing one of the cakes as bulk just for trials sake and the rest as cakes with some perlite in a monotub. I didn’t look up the bulk substrate method so I’m feeling quite uneasy to take that route :/
Thank you for your reply brother!

Usually i wouldn`t tape the lid holes up, as i have a dry vermiculite layer on top as a filter, but you may do of course :wink2:
It can be risky with pf tek, if you have some hidden contam inside, and go to bulk with several jars to one tub.
As cakes, they can handle some contam quite well.
