Can someone give me an easy recipe to follow for agar using just agar, potato flakes, and honey?
The recipe I use is:
2.4g potato flakes
Is 1 gram of honey 1 teaspoon? What about the potato flakes? Teaspoons or tablespoons? I know this seems elementary but I’m a newbie. Been growing since last September but there’s a lot I havnt done yet like trying to isolate cultures. Also I’m just beginning to try liquid culture.
A level teaspoon is usually 5ml, if that was filled with water it would weigh 5 grams (not sure if honey is heavier than water or not though).
Honey packets are usually 10-12g. so I guess a teaspoon would be 5-7g
for the Potato flakes, I guess a teaspoon is enough
and for agar, maybe 2 teaspoons, maybe more.. depends on the agar brand
10g agar 15g LME 1L Water
Is it distilled water or water boiled and cooled
Can you give the rest of the recipe pleas like cooking cooling pouring
