    Hi all

I just wanted to share my experience with this lovely strain from the municipality of "corumba" located in brazil. Hence the name of the cultivated species "corumba".

I also want to take the time to point out to any anti-glovebox users or people that claim no prints can be taken free of contamination that this grow was in fact completed by

Print to syringe to grain spawn masters

I inoculated 4 mss grain spawn masters and used two of those to grain 2 grain transfer (inside of A glovebox) 14 2nd gen spawn jars

They were colonized in 7 days but I gave them 3 days to consolidate before spawning at roughly a 1:1ratio grain type was mixed wbs spawned to 1brick of coir in each 63L tote.

    The results speak for themselves.

(You'll have to manually click the image link to view the pictures, it's not allowing me to link them directly to this post for some reason :) )

Cheers everybudday! I'll post a dry weight once I have one.

Excellent work. They look beautiful .:borat:pick them now if you didn’t already. Get them before they drop spores and leave a black mess all over your mushrooms..

Just wanted to share some more of the same old.

    "Corumba"

But this time I'll be using 3 63L totes with 8L of spawn per 1brick of coir.

Currently the jars are around 75% colonized. I grain to grain transferred inside of a glovebox with 100% success. (Gloves attached)

    Six days ago.

    Heres they are today
    20211103_163034.jpg

I'll post some more updates once they become available in the coming weeks.

Cheers everybudday! Thanks for viewing my crappy attempt at a log lol

So here is a progress update.

Finally got around to spawning the 3rd this very early morning (like 3am for me)

My spawn jars (8 in total)
    20211114_044211.jpg
    And dumped....
    20211114_052741.jpg
    Mixed
    20211114_053620.jpg
    Cased
    20211114_054200.jpg
Seran wrap lid set in place (with plenty of pin sized holes for f.a.e./g.e/r.h .
    20211114_060830.jpg
And finally joining its siblings (from right to left is bin #1 , 2 and 3.)
    20211114_061200.jpg
All three bins were made up with a 48 hour gap inbetween to avoid having to harvest them all at the same time since its just me managing the grow that would make things abit difficult if I had to pick them all together at once.

But anyways, yup, that's my progress.
    The count down begins
    7 days to colonize
    7 days to pin
    7 days to mature

The method I'm using is non-modes tubs with seran wrap. It works extremely well from p.cubensis. full auto, I wont open those bins to mist or fan them until I harvest 1st flush.

    Cheers everybudday!

Will post updates once they're colonized.

    Thanks man!

I always wipe the walls of the bin down after spawning to make them as clean as possible. I know it probably doesnt matter but it's the obsessive compulsive disorder in me lol

It's good to feed obsessive mind loops like that real productive stuff to do, instead of them blowing about like a loose string trying to attach onto everything in life until we can't touch a door handle without cleaning it, and that was long before the covid fear was generated in society for it to easily attach onto

Bod it is so enlightening to read that which you post. You should write a philosophical book. Or maybe you already have, I always enjoy reading your writings.

I am going to try the uncle bens thing again. This time I have read instructions. This proves how unwise I can be. Bad for not following instructions.
