    Dearest brothers and sisters.
Every year or so the curiousity to smoke the Bufo Alvarius secretion drops back into my mind and I guess to finally find peace with it is to finally smoke it.
I've been trying a lot the past years to get either the dried venom or pure 5meo, but always failed.

I really know how to grow those crystals of NN, but never could extract 5meo mostly due to not having the right solvent (either too poisenous and/or not easy available).

I would give everything to someone who could provide me with it.

Love and thanks for reading this,
    cap <3

I MOVED THE THREAD TO DIY, since later in the thread (see below) I started keeping Bufo Alvarius as pets and will keep posting my ventures with them in this thread!!!!

future! ltns brother ... meo is an interesting one, I always found it to be pretty pleasant and nowhere near as 'out there' as n,n ... it used to be pretty widely available through the RC-vendors, but these days I don't know where it all sits ... good luck, I just wanted to say hey!

I wish i could help with a source just to see the photo's of what you would do with it, the last crystal pictures you shared on here are burnt into my retina.

I love n,n and have had similar urges now and then to hunt out a Sonoran desert toad as a pet, tried and tried a few years back with no luck, all heptologists would quickly end contact once you mentioned any variety of them and i settled back into my n,n. I know phalaris arundinacea is meant to have 5.meo in abundance but i am no extraction wizard so never ventured down that path altho i do have a huge bag of seed for it

Yes, I have Phalaris growing in my garden and tried the ex. I tried Anadenanthera peregrina seeds and Virola theiodora bark/resin for extraction, but failed a few times. The thing is you must very slowly increase the p.h. and then extract with DCM, which is carcinogenic. (as far as I understood it)
Btw. I don't wanna grow crystals from the toad secretion.

I thought once you had it you might start playing around with purifying it, it is hard to imagine it being more powerful than N,N but that was what originally had me chasing it

Azure, dear Brother, if you ever find time again, we should chat again or maybe even better skype!
    All my love, <3

Is there no one who could provide me with the toad magic? I'd give one arm for it :)

Theyre pretty controlled around these parts. When you can find them they will end up costing you an arm and a leg. Alot of times theyre not even the right species. Its been awhile since I snooped them out but I wouldnt be surprised if theyre on the CITES list as of now.

Might I suggest if you do find some legit ones, set them up in a 125 and see if you can get them to make some froglets. They could use all the help they can get. Poor little dudes.

I had two bufo toads when I was a young one. Unfortunately they died.
If you'r interested in a live toad I could check with the vendor I bought them from and see if they are still available.

Got one from frankfurt zoo! Born there. And more will come in two weeks! I want to have 4-5, just finished the bigger terrarium for them. If all are mature I will build a second one additionally to this one. (this one's 200x60x80)

Btw. when Kermit (his name) and I are friends in the future I will ask him, if I could get some of his venum for spiritual adventures. I just got some synth 5meo from a friend, its lying around for almost a week now, can't find a silent spot and the courage :)

Always was craving for an exotic animal around me. I had an Iguana for years, who died after we had to give him away at the new place. I am still so sorry, cause I if I would have known that you can't give them away cause they die from a broken heart (no joke), I would never have thought about it. He was living in our living room and was part of the family. He was always smooching with my cat, so gorgeous they were. (she is dead, too)
Anyway, I wanted to have a Alvarius pair 3 years ago but my beloved wife wasn't pleased. But now she opened her heart...<3

I remember reading they make interesting pets (not just for their chemicals), they will eat anything they can fit in their mouths and will try anything that looks like it might fit with a squeeze given half a chance, i used to have turtles as a kid, we used to put the warming tank light on at night and open the lid and the window and sit and watch the show as the bugs came flocking to the blue light and the terrapins went loco, like watching gators fuck ghazals on the serengeti in your bedroom

I used to get it mail order from a supplier here in the USA in the mid to late 1980s and found it of some interest, though it quickly grew repetitive and dull. Eventually, after the mushroom cleansed me of all self-destructive habits and meditation opened my organs of soul perception, I approached 5-MeO again, only to find that it left me feeling like I had just been unpleasantly poisoned by a toxic toad! It was no longer a gateway for anything wholesome or useful (for myself at least). I'll never approach it again.

    Hey Elf,
though I've only smoked 7mgs so far (my ego is anxious as hell now) and from what I've read its pretty sure that its unpleasant for your mind, since this will be washed away.
A full dose of DMT (60/70mgs) is what I am speaking of here. Which is also something my mind wouldn't wanna do by choice.
But I also have this curious ego :) And therefore I will test the full dose anyway. And someday I ask Kermit if he will give me some of his wisdom. :)

I will get 6 little ones, fresh metamorphosised next week. Half an inch in size :) And those will be raised like my own children. Sigh.
Will keep you informed with pix- if wished. (I mean its kinda a like a grow. And since my shrooms leave me hanging in these days...)
