I usually just wait for them to start pinning in the bag, but I get the best results when the temps are between 70-75. It is in the 60's in my basement and they are noticeably slower. I spawn pretty heavy (about 2 cups per block), that way they colonize extremely fast and I'm sure helps the yield as well.

That totally explains it! I don't known why I thought they should be fruiting in the low 60's (that's where my basement is as well). I've been spawning one colonized quart, and basically following your lime-pasteurized bran recipe. Thanks for the follow up!

This is a multi-spore culture that came from Tristan. The fruits are small, but there are a lot of them. We'll see how the second flush turns out.

Those are some lovely fruits! Is that a king oyster? Looks a bit strange to me. What is a "multi-spore culture"?

Thank you. It is a King oyster. The culture is one that I isolated from spores.

Time to resurrect this dinosaur! Have a few grows coming up but really couldn't wait. I'll start it off small and update as things progress.

Some HK oyster I have going in my outdoor greenhouse.

Pretty decent Pioppino flush. They were a little unruly and wanted to start pinning on the sides, but worked out pretty well in the end.
