You are graduating to an elite group. I'd get a tube of silicone for $3 and go around the inside and the fan at the top
awesome! Some people never use a prefilter. Wouldn't hurt to run it a few minutes without one, get a sense of your flow. I'm as anxious as you are to see how that fan does
Thanks guys . I owe it all to the tek and a few others who put up with my million questions thanks to everyone that gave me answers and info
Look rad as hell Boomer. Gonna have to send you a present tomorrow so you can get some use out if that thing lol. Can't wait to see it in action. What was your total build cost? Peace, Rooster
my guess is a lot faster than 100 fpm. Maybe faster than 150. I'm relieved to see the $109 fan is going to work
I would think you should flame test it at the distance you intend to do most of your work. I work pretty close to the filter, somewhere between 1" to 9"
I've seen pics off people doing it but for some reason the site is acting funny it won't let me search anything
just test it at 6" and then enjoy working with your new hood. I'm excited for you sorry if I don't have any hard numbers for you but in all honesty you've got some good leeway on your side and I think you've got it going on. Don't pour 1,000 plates yet but I'd suggest moving forward and enjoying. I know how you feel ATM. pour plates
Sweet thanks ima do all kinds of stuff tonight then if I have enough syringes maybe do a give away to the people
