heres the rest, i'm taking more pics this afternoon when the sun is low, it's too bright to get decent pics in the morning here.
one more, we gotta get the limit raised on pics, we could do unlimited upload size and wouldn't overload the board just have to find out how to raise the limit.
your first Birds nest (not the jughead one but the black ones) are Cyathus stercoreus. the jughead fungus are a kind of Earth Star fungus. im not sure which ones though. your cubes are looking really good though! cant wait to see more!
the scaly ones are Coprinopsis sp. and the smooth ones are a Coprinellus i believe. but i digress...those cubes look fucking TASTY! i wants them! give to fry!
this problem has already been fixed, no telling how many five pic posts i made while there was no reason to! more pics in a min!
ok here's a couple new pics from the pile, these all seem to mature pretty quick, i go out in the morning and they are pins, then go back late afternoon and they are ready to pick, most of them anyway. i think after all these are mature i'll back off on watering for a few days and let them consume more poo to make some bigger shrooms, at this point i have been watering everyday which makes them flush with smaller fruits i think. heres the pics:
looks that way professor! a good friend is sending me a pressure cooker so i can get back to doing some limited myco work, probably don't have clean enough place to do agar just yet but may do some brf isolations of these when they come up, that way i can get tissue clones of the unique ones. fingers crossed anyway...
yeah man it's crazy as hell to go out there and see 'em popped up everywhere i wish i could find a new field to get colonized poo from and see some different variations
