    Cab size: 56cm width
    40cm depth
    86cm height

    Lighting: 1 x 45w 4200k cfl
    2 x 23w 6400k cfl
    4 x 30w 2700k cfl

Exhaust: Twin squirrel-cage blowers salvaged from an old air-con unit. On a speed-controller

    Intake: Passive, screened.

Rootbound mother-plant was re-potted into about 25 litres of re-cycled organic soil that was re-ammended with a fistful each of neem-meal, kelp, and fish blood and bone. The mix is a bit hot but the plant is doing ok so far. I´ll probably only need to give plain water to this plant through to maturity, but i´ll give her some teas along the way to help keep the soil fed. 5 Days later and the first day of 12/12. Gave her a kelp/aloe foliar just before lights-out.

I´ll get some mulch down tomorrow and water with a sprouted seed -tea, and then hopefully leave her to it. :pipe:

Funny thing is that will do well with that amount of light being only one indica. :)

All your environmental conditions are perfect......

is this a flowering project or just a replant of a mother?

It´s day two of 12/12 today treewood. I fitted this cab out last winter for a one-off grow and was just about to dismantle it but i need some herb so this plant gets to do her thing.

A quick update as the first week of flowering finishes. I gave her a sprouted seed tea with aloe last Tuesday, and plain water from the rain barrel yesterday, and put down a mulch of white sage, rosemary, lavender and pine needles. The mulch will help deter fungus-gnats with their aromatic terpenes and feed the soil as they break down. And for leaf-eating pests a mantis has taken up residence.

For a bit of personal on a budget they get the job done and the quality is the same as from any light set-up. I wouldn´t use them if i had to illuminate anything more than 2 or 3 square feet though.

Haven´t grown any autos for a while and probably won´t. I was very impressed with Sweet seeds autos. Their Big-devil-XL is very impressive yeild and potency wise but the ruderalis genetics add a little ´roughness´ to the flavour that takes away from the smoking pleasure imo.

I have to give credit to a gentleman called Clackamas Coot for the info about using aromatic herbs for pest control, although he was using them as a foliar spray not mulch. I try to use what´s around me and the mulch ingredients are all growing in my garden so when i went out to gather some bits the light-bulb went on.

I let flowers go until they are done, when a strain says 50 days to finish flowering, doesn't mean you just automatically picknitbon day 50, that's just when they harvested it. I also like to let them get a tad more mature than most people do I guess, I have always been a fan of heavy body stone

Well said Majik. I´ve only had a couple of strains that were done according to the breeders spiel. Most needed about ten days or more to get to where i´d consider them done. And i´m with you on the heavy body-stone :super:

I love watching all you guys grow your flowers, I'm slowly putting together all the equipment I need for my own personal medical grow. I'm thinking I'm going to exchange the 1000 watt for something smaller, I'm thinking of completely downsizing from myboriginal plans. I'm going to only have 6 plants in flower mode, Ican have as many cuttings vegging and mother plants seedlings etc as I wish, but only 6 can be flowering... So, I need to figure out the best method to get the absolute most yeild from just 6 plants... Im thinking some type of SCROG style soil grown plants. I love short fat indica's also, in save the sativa dominant strains for outdoors.... Hoping to have a little greenhouse next season, then I can really let some Sativa's get the time they need to fi ish flowering properly .

If I could only run 6 plants I'd run a scrog set up for sure. For the best yeild I'd veg them under a MH, which will keep the intermodal spacing very tight, for around 2-3 months... At least 600 watts 10 gal pots... That way their stalks are like tree trunks when they go into flower...

I wouldn't veg with floros if I could only flower a few plants at a time.....

You can get some serious weight per plant that way but it takes a lot longer to veg them.....

I'm deffinitly going to go with MH for veg and HPS for flowering. Yea a scrog grow will give mW the best results I think
