    what are yours?

i like to make three different types; one with real crispy bacon, one with ground up almonds and one with cayenne. sometimes i do coconut combo in either the cayenne or almonds.

i always hate when people make shitty chocolates.

post any links to recipes or teks.

i always double boil high cocoa chocolate till soft then add powdered mushrooms (usually to make 2g chocolates) and then whatever flavor i want.

i have used ice cube trays but i prefer to make a tin foil "mold" and pour the chocolate into that then when it starts to harden i score in the marks for cutting or breaking into individual pieces. usually about 200g chocolate mix and 40g powdered mush.

i no longer have access to a double boiler so i use a pot inside my pressure cooker, just with water and the inside pot resting on the flat rack inside.

    what do you guys do?

i just do reg milk chocolate chips...in my own silicone mold... I just melt in microwave 1 minute intervals 4 times....i think i use 16ozs(two small bags?) for oz or soo(35grams)...i usually add a little more.... just hard to mix hwen you go more then that..

one time I did my PE really heavy and it looked like 40grit sandpaper... People loved those.

One of the ways I like to make chocolates is : Ill buy a pack of snickers bars.. cut them into small pieces and melt them in a pyrex bowl over boiling water.
Once the chocolate is melted I scoop it out on foil in desired piles for the custom orders.. For example, if one friend want's a chocolate bar with 5 grams of magic, ill weigh out the 5 gs of powder and mix it with just the right amount of chocolate for a good consistency..
The reason I like using snickers bars, is because of several reasons.. First, after mixing in your mush thoroughly, the chocolate has the flexibility and consistency of modeling clay.. I'm able to mold it into fun shapes, balls or place them in molds with ease.. Second, the peanuts in the chocolate help mask the nutty taste of the mush, or at least while your eating it. lol Taste great too.. You can also use other chocolates like Baby Ruth's ,Milky way, etc.
This is just one of many method's I enjoy..
I love the idea of adding bacon.. I just might try that on the next batch..

Found a website with a million chocolate molds. They have one I want to get, big coin looking things with the signs of the Zodiac on them. Each cavity holds 25gr of chocolate.

The hard plastic ones work fine too. I've gotten some from them before.

Lol. I hear that. There's a lot of unusable stuff. I shop by capacity, based on a 1:10 ratio.

Tree is right on. Two bags of chips can easily absorb 40 grams of cubes or 30 grams of PE. I wouldn't push it beyond that if you wish to retain food quality.

great idea from my buddy....when you make them lighter. Mine usually come out as 80 grit sandpaper..lmao...

but back on track...use WHITE chocolate...it makes the chocolates blue and people "believe" in the product better. (at fests) haha
