These are growing all over my neighborhood right now. Mostly on ground without leaf litter under Oak and Beech forest cover. This is the largest one I've found. This was growing without others nearby, but many others are growing in groups with a little space between them.

    Why aren't my images working?

looks like chanterelle, did they smell like fresh ripe apricots when you picked and handled them?

yip they are chanterelle, proper good score they are a real gourmet wild food you've got there, gently clean them up and pat them dry with kitchen paper, i like them fried in butter and garlic and served on toast, mostly because it only takes a couple of minutes before you are eating them, amazing ingredient for to make the finest chicken and mushroom soup ever

    Hey there Oh Boy...
I would love to have spores off of those Chicken of the Woods...
Want to trade? I only have a couple of things worth trading.
Unless you would take spawn. I have some nice reishi spawn.
I also have a nice spore print from an obscure amanita (Not edible!!! But really pretty! )

Are we allowed to do legit trading here? I can't find any place that has a forum for it.

There is a trading forum here. Private message would be best for this situation
