Please don't fuss at me to much, what works for me is sometimes not recommended. So I put spores to agar and did the usual isolating. Then threw a chunk into some rye berries......any who guess I got wet spot at some point. Anyone have any suggestions? Looking back on my entire process, the only thing I can figure I did wrong was after they were spawned I let them sit for 48 hrs as recommended.....then stuck them straight into fruiting chamber....what I should have done I think is waited on pinns before sticking in chamber.

Fruit is fruit, not sure why I'd have sympathy.

Well, I usually keep my mouth closed but...thing to remember around here is that people tend to pop in at random, and going to our chat and asking can sometimes generate a response in your thread. Something like "Hi, could someone take a look at my thread and see if they can help ? " used to work pretty good for me. Personally I know I miss new threads a lot because I am not here everyday. Sorry you got overlooked.

I'll respond now hope it will help you later. Looks to me like a combination of two things, too much direct moisture on the fruits and too high of a co2 content inside your fruiting chamber( as evidenced by the fuzzy feet) . I say too much direct moisture on the fruits because of the coloration of the caps, something I have seen on pans when I misted them a bit much.

Once again, sorry you got overlooked.

This was the first sentence. This is why nobody jumped in to help. DreamingRaven is 100% correct about asking for help...everyone here is super helpfull i've found. When you start out asking people not to help they won't. lol...Sorry I didnt jump in either. I naturally backed off when you said"what works for me is sometimes not recommended" ....I too have methods unheard of.

Same here. I read it as "don't tell me I did anything wrong but what did I do wrong" and didn't have anything infowise to go from.

We must ask ourselves "How did we get so far without help ?" The books,Internet Teks,DVD's are all help. You have mushrooms yes. It was nice to see. However,If you made it this far on all your own knowledge then i guess you dont need help cause you'll figure it out. If you got this far with other folks knowledge then you need lots of help. It was good you made it this far with some results ,otherwise you may have become discouraged and quit trying altogether. Good luck in the future and i wish you dense canopies and bountiful harvests.

If that's the take away you choose to get from many people offering feedback on something them I guess good luck.
