Hello, I Request advice on How to do a Good Flush. Thank You
Looks like you found a way
Lol done and done. Wash your hand pick and wait for the next flush brother
I think I didn't ask the question in the correct way. After I harvest these mushrooms... How do I flush the harvested cake?
I was confused, doesnt take a lot this week to do that
I am asking how to rehydrate my substrate after the harvest? Thank You
For a mono...don't bother ifbu did it right it'll go till it can't. Misting will be enough. Rehydrating that is..here's some food for. thought and the experience to back it up. When I was going strong, I had a wall of tubs stacked 6 high and 8 across. All I had in the room was a small isolating fan, a t8 florescent and a spray bottle just in case. After u stuffing the poly fill I did nothing or next to it. Check twice a day for contams, remove if u see any. Generally I had a 3 to 6 percent failure rate, generally on the second flush, the rest always make it too 3. So for the next few tubs you make, pay attention to what's working and what's not, keep a daily journal, and by the time you get 7 or 8 under your belt you will know what works in your environment. As everyone's home spite count, mold count, humidity level..etc..is different and what works for some might not be perfect for all.
Thank You for this information. I am now on the 1st dunk of my cakes. There was a little green mold , but the cakes are still growing the mushrooms.
