Stuck in self isolation could you imagine

I didn’t grab them but may go back tomorrow for another walk but I watched a video how to do a spore print so I will try that.
I actually tried to put the one I pulled back into the ground.
I’m spending tonight reading and trying to figure out if it’s the real deal or not. Will the spore print be purple if it’s

I think they do a purple or dark brown but I am no expert by any means! If you do a print try making it as sterile as possible then try throwing the spores to agar and you could grow it out. Do lots of research for full ID and maybe if it rains again try going back there they seem a little dry... keep us posted!

I’m going back tomorrow to collect them but have to be very careful they don’t touch the poison ivy. I will take some more photos and someone said to smell them. I will do a spore print too and post. How do you prepare them to eat though?

Wow as i always say i am by no means any expert but all those symptoms seem to be right. Always check every fruit as look alikes grow in same clusters! Those look nice and yes prints take about 24 hours for best results... always get more opinions. As for stems and caps there are many controversial options as spores do not hold psilocybin and the stems hold more psilocin
and baeocyslin. For best accuracy on dosage you should grind in a non used coffee grinder and weigh out powder. Make sure to rinse grinder as next coffee batch will be active lol! Hope this may help but as I repeat get more opinions please! Good hunting!

If you still have that mycelium filled base of the stem from 3rd pic throw it into the ground around your house and they may say hello in the future!

I ate four caps over a hour and 20 min staggered. It felt weird for a while and then it got better and fun. Enjoyed a beautiful day outdoors. The trees seemed so much bigger than usual. Birds were being nosy and saw weird stuff when I stared at bark. I may have had a conversation with the tree.
Took me forever to get home.
So I have some left and the bark chip all that is whole and I will go buy some wood chips and boil them first and add it in there does that sound about right? Not sure what to do with the rest but I’ll get another photo soon.

If you don't have any agar place some mycelium on a piece of cardboard... that got some mycelium running for me. Just soak cardboard for 10 mins or so and peel apart and sterilize in jar with lil bit of water in microwave for 5ish minutes. then place the mycelium in the ridges in between the cardboard after it has cooled and maybe something will grow... good find keep it up!
